To all Glen Cove residents and partnering organizations: On behalf of the Glen Cove Litter Prevention Program and Beautification Commission I would like to thank you all for your superb accomplishments throughout our city. To the many volunteers and the workforce in the Public Works Department, it's been a beautiful season and I find it encouraging for a program such as ours to have all of your support. From some of the larger projects to the very smallest, every bit of elbow grease, material or donation has helped in an enormous way.

It is very important we keep up with the appearance of our city. The Beautification Litter Prevention Program will continue to remain focused on the underlying issues of littering, planting and educating, but we depend upon the partnerships we've developed over the many years. Organizations such as GC CARES, BID, Youth Bureau, GC Scouts, Dept. of Parks and Recreation, Senior Center and all of the participating civic and neighborhood associations have joined to maintain the beauty of our Gold Coast City. I would also like to thank the seasonal laborers that helped me tremendously this past year. To everyone, including anyone I may have forgotten, thanks for caring and for all the help.
