He was in the Civilian Conservation Corp., a WWII U.S. Navy veteran of the Pacific Theater and worked for 40 years for the Village of Sea Cliff. He was an exempt member of the Sea Cliff Fire Dept. A kind, gentle man who always had a smile on his face. In WWII he was in the Air Corp as a side gunner in a B-25, held the rank of Staff Sergeant and was a POW who was liberated on 4/29/1945. An avid golfer. In 1989 he was inducted into the Glen Cove Hall of Fame. Father of Philip (Jacqueline). Grandfather of Philip (Jill) and Kevin. "Pool Pop" of great-grandson Anthony.
