As a Glen Cove voter, I want to know which of the candidates for mayor has the best shot of getting the waterfront done. So, I went on the web and looked for their websites. I found one for Ralph Suozzi and one for Bob Benazzi. I couldn't find one for Reggie Spinello. So I can't comment on him just yet.

Mr. Benazzi's website states that he is a "senior partner and head of the Plumbing and Fire Protection Department at Jaros Baum & Bolles Consulting Engineers in New York City." I looked up Jaros Baum & Bolles. Here's a senior partner of a 250-person engineering firm that does major projects all over the world.

Mr. Suozzi's website declares that he's had "25 years of professional experience managing in two of the most well-known and respected companies in America-CBS Television and American Express."

So that got me to thinking. If I were to vote today, who would I trust to get the waterfront done correctly, the guy who is a senior partner of an engineering firm or the manager?
