Tom Glynn, Glen Cove resident

It is widely known around town that Tom Glynn, Glen Cove resident and Building Maintenance Supervisor of City Hall, is an avid fisherman with an impeccable record of great catches. He recently participated in the annual fluke contest sponsored by Michael's Bait and Tackle in Great Kills, Staten Island. Tom and his brother Bobby signed up and set off aboard Bobby's boat, the Just in Case. The Glynns brought in the first prizewinner...a fluke weighing 14 pounds, caught in the waters under the Verrazano Bridge. Tom is pictured with the prize fluke...brother Bobby must be off spending the substantial cash prize the two shared.
