This year the voters of Glen Cove have the opportunity to choose from three very capable individuals who are willing to run for mayor and lead our city. Since there will be a number of issues that will impact the present and future direction of our city for many years, it will be very important for all our residents to evaluate each of these candidates in an open manner. We need to get away from the usual partly bickering and the "got you" approach that has been prevalent in most of our elections.

Each of these individuals deserve the opportunity to present their positions and vision in an open and fair forum and then each resident can determine his or her vote based on how each candidate responds to the issues that are most important to each voter. If the election is based on issues and facts, we will have a mayor who can lead us through the many important decisions and challenges that face all of us in the City of Glen Cove.
