Last month, I ended 18 rewarding and challenging years as a member of the Glen Cove School Board. I would like to thank the parents, staff, children and the Glen Cove community for all their support over the years.

I could not have accomplished all the positive things for our children without the help, interest and caring of all the people involved. It does take a whole village to raise a child and everyone needs to be part of all of our children's lives.

The school district is going in a positive direction and I hope with all your interest and caring, they can continue to raise the standards to educate all of our children in a way that will make us proud.

Again, thank you for your support. I will continue to attend school board meetings and I sincerely hope more members of the Glen Cove community will also take an interest in our schools and attend meetings.
