As a representative for the Coalition to Save the Red Spring Woods, I enthusiastically support Assemblyman Chuck Lavine with his bid for re-election.

As constituents, we are fortunate indeed to have Assemblyman Lavine's hands-on approach in assisting with important local projects and initiatives.

During the early stages of the coalition's efforts to protect Glen Cove's beautiful Red Spring Woods, Chuck enthusiastically rolled up his sleeves and supported the project.

He attended our meetings, toured the woods with representatives from environmental organizations and gave our cause the legitimacy and attention that it sorely needed, which ultimately led to the land's preservation.

Chuck is a true environmentalist who cares about preserving Long Island's last open spaces and I am enthusiastically voting to re-elect Assemblyman Chuck Lavine this Tuesday, Sept. 12, Primary Day.
