Dan Badalament Places Third in Heart & Sole Run

Glen Cove resident Dan Badalament scored as the third place finisher in the highly competitive 60-64 age group in the third annual Heart & Sole 5 Kilometer Run on Sunday July 16.

Also winning an award in the Heart and Sole 5K Run was Joanne Stein of Glen Head, who finished as the third woman in the 40-44 age group, in 26:44.

Badalament, who is 63 years old, crossed the finish line at the Plainview-Old Bethpage Middle School in 22 minutes, 34 seconds, a 7:15 minute per mile pace.
