On Tuesday, March 14, the Glen Cove Public Library will hold a Meet the Candidates night in the library's Community Room. At this meeting, Glen Cove residents will be able to speak to those who have volunteered to help steer library policies for the next year. The library is a critical part of Glen Cove's culture, a vital research facility, and a center for information and recreation. Its many and varied programs reach out to all members of our community. Those who care about our library should make a point to attend the meeting, make suggestions for future plans, and meet those who will carry them out. It is a wonderful place to gather with friends and make your voice heard about one of our most valued local institutions. For further information, call the library at 676-2130.
