Registration for Glen Cove Junior Baseball and Softball for both boys and girls leagues will be held at Glen Cove City Hall on two consecutive Saturdays Jan. 21 and 28 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Glen Cove Junior Baseball and Softball Association asks applicants to please note the following:

Parent or guardian must register child. New applicants must show an original birth certificate and proof of residency. New registrants will be limited to children whose parents/guardian are Glen Cove taxpayers, except in Senior Boys and Girls.

Please have the child at registration to allow for correct uniform sizing.

Glen Cove Junior Baseball and Softball reserves the right to alter league structure and return registration fee, if necessary.

Registration fee includes uniform, team photo, insurance and umpires. Number of games will be determined by weather conditions.

Individual player pictures will be taken on opening day for those interested in purchasing them.

There will be no refunds after April 1.

Sign-ups for managers, coaches and umpires will take place at all registrations.

League structure

Girls Instructional Softball, year of birth 2000*, instructional league, $60 fee.

Girls Midget Softball, years of birth 1998-99 noncompetitive league, $80 fee.

Girls Intermediate Softball, years of birth 1996-97, pitching league, $90 fee.

Girls Junior Softball, years of birth 1994-95, pitching league, $90 fee.

Girls Senior Softball, years of birth 1991-93, pitching league, $90 fee.

Boys Instructional Baseball, year of birth 2000*, instructional league, $60 fee.

Boys Midget Baseball, years of birth 1998-99, coach pitching, $90 fee.

Boys Intermediate Baseball, years of birth 1996-97, pitching league, $90 fee.

Boys Junior Baseball, years of birth 1994-95, pitching league, $90 fee.

Boys Senior Baseball, years of birth 1991-93, pitching league, $100 fee.

*Please note: A child with a December 2000 birth date is ineligible for the 2006 season unless the child is enrolled in kindergarten.
