Thank you Glen Cove for the support I received throughout my campaign and on Election Day. I am proud that I was able to bring important issues to the people. I look forward to a smooth transition and I expect to hit the ground running on January 1, 2006. Please know that my heart and mind will be fully engaged every single day in the running of our city government. I will be available and accessible to everyone and anyone as I look forward to addressing all aspects of our city including quality of life issues, finances and the development of our waterfront. I promise and commit to each of you that I will always be guided by what is best for Glen Cove and its residents. I will work closely and cooperatively with the city council, our business leaders, our clergy, our youth, our schools, other government leaders and all people interested in making Glen Cove the best it can be. I will do so with an open mind and heart. I will also do so with knowledge of and respect for business fundamentals and the discipline to apply them. My administration belongs to the people of Glen Cove and it will remain that way from my very first day until my very last day in office. A special thanks to my family and the many volunteers and for those who signed my petition from the start. Thank you all for the opportunity to serve the city I love.
