It was "Team Time" for Glen Cove Democrats last Friday as Mayor Mary Ann Holzkamp and County Executive Tom Suozzi hosted the opening of Team Glen Cove-Nassau headquarters at 20 Glen Street. Mayor Holzkamp, the first woman elected to that position in the history of Glen Cove, is seeking a third term.
"The support we received was fantastic," said Mayor Holzkamp. "Our headquarters was filled to capacity with new supporters joining familiar faces to offer their help in our campaign. It was a mixed crowd that included concerned Republicans and Independents strongly behind us. Experience was the word spoken most often by everyone who joined us."
