The Glen Cove Youth Bureau and the Glen Cove Boys & Girls Club Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) is off to a hard-working start. You may have seen groups painting the Brewster Street garage, working with Beautification, cleaning up the beaches, setting up for Jazz in the Square and helping to maintain Garvies Point Museum. The groups have completed their first workshop on banking and budgeting, thanks to the help of Vicky Hueca from Bank of America on Forest Avenue and Charmaine Clarke, mentoring coordinator. SYEP plans to keep the good work going on momentum for the rest of the summer. Funded by the City of Glen Cove, Nassau County Youth Board, New York State Office of Children and Family Services and Fund Raising by the Glen Cove Youth Board
