A tragic car accident occurred in Old Brookville on Glen Cove Road near East View Lane at approximately 6 a.m. on Sunday, July 24. The two occupants of the vehicle were taken to North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset. The passenger, Andreas Christopoulos, 21, of Glen Cove, passed away at the hospital about two hours later from injuries sustained in the accident. The driver of the vehicle, Crescenzo Saviano, 24, also of Glen Cove, remains in the intensive care unit at the hospital due to his injuries. FULL STORY
