On behalf of the Glen Cove Hibernians, I wish to express my sincere gratitude to all who helped make our 17th annual St. Patrick's Day Parade a success.

A special thank you to all organizations who participated in our line of march. Thank you so much for turning out in the inclement weather.

My sincere thanks to all the corporate sponsors, parade contributors and all who placed an ad in our St. Patrick's Day Commemorative Journal. Thank you to those who bought raffle tickets and to friends of the Hibernians, who contributed time and/or money.

To the many balloon handlers, thank you so much for your services and I hope you had a fun time, even though some of you got "a good Irish soaking." Thank you to Sr. Mille, Monica and the children of St. Patrick's who volunteered to carry parade banners.

Thank you to the men and women of the Glen Cove Police Dept, Special Police and Glen Cove Public Works. Many thanks to Mayor Holzkamp and the girls at City Hall for their countless hours of help. Thank you David and all at Buchtenkirch Florist for the beautiful arrangements of flowers.

Thank you Fr. Costa and all at St. Patrick's. Thank you to the Gold Coast Gazette, Glen Cove Record Pilot and Locust Valley Leader. Thank you Dennis, our photographer.

Thank you to our 2005 Grand Marshal James J. McCabe and to his Aide Mary Moran. We sincerely hope you had a day to remember.
