The family of Dr. Gabriel Wasserman invites all colleagues, patients and friends who knew and loved her to a special informal memorial gathering at Prybil Beach, Glen Cove at 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 3. Come share your thoughts or listen to others share theirs at a place where the doctor spent so many wonderful peaceful hours. Dr. Wasserman died on Dec. 6, 2004, all too soon, in a tragic car accident in Arizona. Dr. Gabby raised her family in Glen Cove and spent decades at Community Hospital at Glen Cove serving the community. Bring a beach chair or blanket and share a memory or two. In case of rain, the group will come together at Glen Cove Hospital's Pratt Auditorium on Trubee Place. Please use the Trubee Place entrance to the auditorium.

Thomas W. Flynn, lifelong resident of Glen Cove, died on March 24, 2005 at age 78. He was a WWII Veteran. Husband of the late Helen C. Father of Linda Rogers (John), Gloria Pace (Gary), Robert (Joan) and Elizabeth. Brother of Margaret, Nancy, Peggy and the late George, Louis, Richard, Vincent, William, Lola and Edith. Grandfather of David, Jarrid, Chris and Brian. Great-grandfather of four. Reposed at the Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home. Glen Cove. Blessing held at St. Boniface RC Church. Robert J. McDougall II, of Glen Cove, died on March 25, 2005 at age 58. He was a Vietnam veteran and member of Glen Cove V.F.W. Post 347. Husband of Margaret (Peggy Lawson). Son of the late Colonel Robert J. and the late Lois L. "Daddy" to Harriet and Chizzy. Nephew of Dolores Monahan. Also survived by cousins, nieces, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Bob was a proud American who loved his country, especially Vermont, family, dogs, and friends. Bob also loved Harleys, Jack Daniels, Budweiser, Camel cigarettes and country music. Bob will be greatly missed by his wife and dogs. Reposed at Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home. Prayer service held at Dodge-Thomas and interment Locust Valley Cemetery.
Frank J. Daniello, 65, of Glen Cove, died on March 26, 2005. He was a retired Glen Cove mail carrier for over 35 years and a US Navy veteran. Son of Gladys and the late Joseph. Father of Frank and Steven. Brother of Joseph (Pat) and Marie (Larry) Graziose. Also survived by his nieces and nephews.
