Last weekend I had the pleasure of attending our Finley Middle School drama club production of Footloose. The play was a great choice for our teenagers considering its theme.

Congratulations to all the students in the cast, crew and band. Bravo to director Sandy Vigliotti and choreographer Lori Penrod. Staging this production with more than 120 boys and girls, each with their own talents must have been a formidable task! Footloose was a success because of the commitment made by our students and the support of parents, local businesses and several high school students. I was proud to see our young people truly enjoying themselves in song and dance as they cut loose. Let's hear it for the boys and girls!
