Thomas J. "Tommy D." DiBartolomeo, 62, of Glen Cove, formerly of Lattingtown, died on March 10, 2005. Husband of Judy. Father of Stephen (Terri Ann), Thomas (Lauren) and Aimee Cody (Chris). Grandfather of Lauren, Stephen and Olivia. Brother of Alfred and Joseph. Also survived by many relatives and friends. Arrangements were made by the Oyster Bay Funeral Home. Funeral Mass at St. Patrick's RC Church. Interment Locust Valley Cemetery. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association, St. Francis Hospital or the American Cancer Society. Louise Capobianco (nee Yannotti), of Oyster Bay, formerly of Glen Cove, died on March 15, 2005. Wife of the late Charles. Mother of Joan Kelley (Daniel), Charles M., Michael and the late Dorothy Coffey (Raymond). Also survived by many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Arrangements were made by the Marcus L. Bianconi Funeral Home, Glen Cove. Mass at the Church of St. Rocco. Interment Pinelawn Memorial Park. Charles E. Lewis, of Glen Head, died on March 16, 2005. He was a Navy veteran and retired from FDNY. Husband of Mary. Father of Maryellen, Charles and Katie. Son of the late Mary and Charles Lewis. Brother of Dorothy Lennie. Arrangements were made by the Whitting Funeral Home, Glen Head. Funeral service at the funeral home. Interment VA National Cemetery, Calverton. Contributions may be made to Mary Immaculate Chapel. William C. (Billy) Southard, formerly of Glen Cove, died on March 19, 2005 at age 42. Son of Mary and the late William J. Brother of Kim Rogers (Matt) and Beth Mau (Gary). Uncle of Matthew, Steven, Nicholas and Eden. Reposed at the Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home, Glen Cove. Mass held at St. Patrick's RC Church. Interment St. Patrick Cemetery.

Stephen Charles Mayer, a master craftsman, builder, cabinet maker and artisan, died on March 19, 2005. He was born May 9, 1949 in Brooklyn. Steve was also a renowned master fisherman, expert skier, hiker and golfer. He was a graduate of North Shore High School Class of 1967.

Stephen Charles Mayer is the beloved second son of Frederick Nelson and Dorothy Carol Mayer, who originally lived in Glen Head and now are retired and living in Raleigh, NC. Steve's brothers and their spouses and his nieces are Frederick Nelson Jr., Margaret and Adrienne Mayer of Wake Forest, NC; Donald Richard, Tina and Kelsey Mayer of Mission, TX. Aunts are Margaret C. Mayer of Stony Brook and Clara G. Baur of Avon, CT. Cousins Kathryn Mayer Huettner, Alexandria, VA and Laurel Mayer, Long Island, Scott Baur of Deerfield, NH and Louisa Baur Heumann, Southport, CT. Other intimate members of the family include Karen Gochnauer, Lake Elmore, VT, Karen's son Barry Pugh of Conawingo, MD and his beloved parrot Marvin. Deceased uncles include Robert E. Baur Jr. and Charles W. Mayer. Deceased grandparents include Dorothy L. Baur, Robert E. Baur Sr.; Frederick Mayer, Elsie N. Mayer. All of the members of the Mayer family are deeply saddened by this profound loss and are eternally grateful and thankful to Karen Gochnauer; members of the Mayer and Baur families, all of Steve's friends and close associates, the Lake Elmore community, Lamoille Home Health and Hospice, Dr. Marc Ernstoff, Heide Wells RN, and entire medical staff of Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center for their loving support, humanitarian and professional care.

Eleanor K. Selesky, of Glen Cove, died on March 20, 2005 at age 66. Wife of Bill. Sister of Florence Fannon and Dorothy Hilljie. She was an active member of the Glen Cove Senior Center and Glen Cove Adult Day Program. Service held at Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home, Glen Cove. Interment at Calverton V.A. Cemetery. Helen F. Walas, of Greenvale, died on March 21, 2005. Sister of Estelle Siska, Maryann Lewis, Leonard R. Walas and the late Stanley Walas Jr. and the late Sonja Rodgers. Aunt of Allyn, Sharon, Lynda, Leonard Jr., Dean, Gail, Todd and Richard. Great-aunt of Chad, Brandon, Kaitlyn, Sarah, Pamela, Jeffrey, Rachel, Christina, Carly, Kurt and the late Derek. Arrangements were made by the Whitting Funeral Home, Glen Head. Funeral Mass at St. Hyacinth RC Church. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery.
