Born on December 15, 1924, in Skepe, Poland. She moved to the U.S. towards the end of WWII and ultimately became a long time resident of Glen Cove. She was predeceased six years ago by her late husband Bronislaw Loving mother of Barbara (Steven) Swire of Florida, Edward B. and Krystyna (Michael) Fadden. Beloved grandmother of Tasha, Krysia, Ryan and Sonnie. She also will be sorely missed by her pet companion "Ralph". Carmel Cemetery, Tenafly, NJ. Dr. Gabrielle "Gaby" Wasserman, formerly of Glen Cove, died on Dec. 6, 2004 in Phoenix, AZ due to a car accident. She is survived by her daughter Karin Pollak, son-in-law Bill Pollak and grandson Robert M. Seymour. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to any organization which takes care of animals. A Celebration of Gaby's Life will be organized to be held in her beloved Glen Cove during April 2005. Further information will be provided at a later date.
