The Rev. S. Robert Boston, 85, passed away Aug. 14, 2004. He was a graduate of Grove City College and Princeton Seminary. He served his country in WWII as an Army Chaplain in the South Pacific Theater. He was the Minister of the Glenwood Landing Presbyterian Church for 47 years before retiring to Atlantic Beach, FL. He is survived by daughters Joan Martin (Ray), Paula Stoebner (Mark), and sons Mark (Pat), Rife (Paula); eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Private family services were held in Jacksonville Beach, FL. Services under the direction and care of Quinn-Shalz, a Family Funeral Home (904) 249-1100.

Ellen Davis, of Glen Cove, died on July 16, 2004. Daughter of Albert and Joan Davis. Mother of Sabrina M. Fuoco. Sister of Susan D. Payton (Robert) and Karen D. Blihar (Joseph). Aunt of Kayla Blihar, Lindsey Payton, Michael Payton. Also survived by her friend Danny Tillman. Arrangements were made by the Whitting Funeral Home, Glen Head. All services private. Marie Elizabeth Mattel, of Breezy Point, died on Aug. 4, 2004. Wife of the late James. Mother of James Mattel, Kate Woodhouse and Lori Mattel Leventhal. Grandmother of Colin, Russel, Tanner, Bret and Evan. Arrangements were made by the Whitting Funeral Home, Glen Head. A memorial Mass was held at St. Edmund's Church, Breezy Point.

Jean Licari, of Glen Head, died on Aug. 10, 2004. Wife of the late Vincent. Mother of Jeanne (Thomas) Santoro and the late Salvatore. Sister of Marie and the late Millie and the late Ralph. Helen Shea, of Glen Cove, died on Aug. 11, 2004. She was a registered nurse for over 47 years at Glen Cove Community Hospital. Wife of the late Raymond. Mother of Michael (Marjorie), Eileen Folan, Thomas (Carleen), James (Laura), Nancy (Jack) Peet, Kevin (Susan) and the late Robert. Grandmother of 12. Warren J. Dunn Jr., 47, of Glen Cove, died on Aug. 12, 2004. Husband of Marissa. Father of Thomas, Katherine and Joseph. Son of Warren J. and the late Mary. Brother of Russell. Arnold H. MacLennan, 73, longtime resident of Locust Valley, tragically left us on Aug. 13, 2004. He retired from NYNEX after 35 years. He was a volunteer of the Locust Valley Fire Dept. for 50 years. Beloved husband of Joan (nee Tate) of 51 years. Loving father of Susan (Kevin) Watson, Sandra (Jeffrey) Nieri, and Sharon (John) Cook. Adored poppy of Sean, Meredith and Liam Watson, Christopher and Alexandra Nieri, Cole and Cooper Cook. Also survived by his brother Alexander of Brooksville, FL. He leaves behind many cherished neighbors and friends, his brothers of the LVFD and his beloved cats Coco and Blackie. Forever in our hearts.
