Manzione Dentistry Bats 16, Old Brookville PT Volcanoes 8

The Bats pulled ahead with four runs in the sixth inning to make the score 12-8. The Bats added three insurance runs in the top of the seventh for the final score. Tyrone Perkins made an unassisted double play at shortstop to end a bases-loaded no-out rally by the Volanoes in the sixth. Mike Manzione played great defense at first for the Bats.

Dylan McKibbins (triple) and Andrew Marra (double) had four hits apiece for the Bats. Perkins (double) and Anthony Pedraita had three hits each for the winning world series team.

Manzione Dentistry Devil Rays 15, Orioles 8

The previously undefeated Orioles coughed up 15 runs to the Devil Rays as Peter Duffy and Mike Rirchie were 4-for-4 for the Devil Rays. Nick Manzione was 3-for-4 and Eric Pauelo was 2-for-3. Pitching by Chris Dobbs, Ritchie and Kevin Martinez kept the Orioles bats off stride. Tony Palmiri had a great defensive game at shortstop.

Granger Family Dentist Braves 17, Cappiello Marlins 4

Nicole Alexander had a two-run homer and four RBIs to highlight the Braves' hitting attack. Other Braves stars include Tia Sanders and Allison Baade (two RBIs apiece); Alexa Franklin and Danielle Pilla (two hits each). Alexander also helped her own cause with four innings of great pitching as Baade relieved her with three strong innings.
