At the recent Nassau County Awards Dinner, he was also named as Player of the Year in Conference B-C. Last year North Shore recorded 3 wins and 14 losses and this year the team went to the Nassau County finals for the first time in the school's history. Bill led the conference with 21 points per game, 24 rebounds per game, 6 assists and 3 blocks per game. He scored 30 points three times and pulled down over 30 rebounds three times with highs of 34 points and 40 rebounds. He also recorded 2 triple-doubles during the season. North Shore finished this season with an overall 12-6 and an excellent 9-4 record in conference play. Bill was also named to the Nassau County All-Tournament team for the playoffs. Bill is a junior and moves on to the baseball season where he received All-County honors last year as a sophomore. Also receiving honors in basketball for North Shore was senior Chris Galano (12 ppg) and junior Mike Frey (11 ppg). Chris was also named to the Nassau County All-Tournament team for the playoffs. North Shore will miss Chris next year, but the rest of the team is returning so things look good for the North Shore boys basketball team.
