Budget Review and Revision Continues at GC Board of Ed
The Glen Cove Board of Education met in a special session Wednesday, March 31 to continue budget talks. The 2004-2005 school budget, submitted to the board by the administration and with all the input, outtakes, yeas, nays, revisions and reforms from the board, is due to be presented for adoption by the board of education on April 19. This date precedes the date of the budget vote by one month.
Mayor Krieb Assesses State of the Village
At the ceremonial meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Sea Cliff held on Thursday, April 1, Mayor Eileen Krieb gave her annual State of the Village report and swore in numerous members of numerous departments, boards and committees. Mayor Krieb congratulated re-elected Village Trustee Elena Villafane and newly elected Trustee Peter Hayes and administered the Constitutional Oath of Office to them.

The Glen Cove girls varsity track and field team competed in an exciting track meet on Monday, March 29 against West Hempstead, Plainedge, and Roslyn and Big Red athletes did their school proud.
St. Hyacinth's CYO Basketball Has Great Season
St. Hyacinth's CYO basketball program has completed another successful year. With four of the six teams making the playoffs, the fifth year of this travel program is the most successful to date.
