SC Village Board Revitalizes for Spring
The Theodore Roosevelt Council Boy Scouts filed in for the Sea Cliff Village Board meeting Monday night, March 1, announcing Saturday, March 13 as "Boy Scouts of America Scouting for Food Day" in the village. Troops will be out from 10 a.m. to noon that Saturday, collecting food door to door for needy Long Islanders.

Glen Cove High School Big Red Sports
The Glen Cove wrestling town had a great finish to a strong season. The team narrowly missed being league champions with a 28-26 loss to Wantagh. All the wrestlers from both teams wrestled well with the lead changing hands several times through the match. Getting big wins for Glen Cove were Billy Nicholas, Willie Lebron, Brian Monahan, Mike Kavanaugh, John Sebastiano and Anthony Zavaro.

The North Shore High School men's basketball team took a place in the history books last week, going to the Class B County Championships for the first time. The Vikings faced the undefeated Malverne on Friday and lost 76-52, but not without a fight.
