Frances D'Angelo (nee Bonacorsa), of Glen Cove, died on Jan. 12, 2004. She was past president of North Shore Lions Club, a member of Glen Cove Sons of Italy and supporter of the Glen Cove Animal Shelter. Wife of the late Carmine. Sister of Philip Bonacorsa (Dorothy), Joseph Bonacorsa (Mary), the late Michael Bonacorsa and Natalie Konopacki. Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visiting Thursday and Friday from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home, Glen Cove. Mass at the Church of St. Patrick Saturday at 9:45 a.m. Interment Mount St. Mary's Cemetery. Michael A. Martinez, formerly of Bayville, died on Jan. 7, 2003. He volunteered as an EMT during the Chicago heat wave of the 1980s and the World Trade Center attack. Son of Dorothy and Felix. Raymond C. Meyer, Brigadier General, Ret., of Glen Cove, died on Jan. 9, 2004. General Meyer served in the USAF for 35 years. He received his wings and was commissioned a 2nd Lt. in 1942. During his career he served as the commander of the 4118th Operations Squadron during the Korean Conflict, 303rd Bombardment Wing, Stategic Air Command, 106th Military Airlift Wing during the Vietnam War. He retired in 1975 as the vice commander of the NY Air National Guard. Husband of May. Father of Raymond C. Jr. (Jane) and Peter. Grandfather of Raymond C. III, Kathleen and Joseph H.
