Richard Creede, Beautification Director, Dies at 50 -- Glen Cove lost one of its most valuable natural resources last week with the passing of Richard Creede; he was that much a part of the trees, flowers and water of the city he worked tirelessly to beautify. Vikings Celebrate Homecoming and Spirit Week -- North Shore High School showed its pride and spirit last week, culminating in a rousing, student-organized, Homecoming Pep Rally Friday afternoon.
