Mayor Holzkamp and Chief Spy Address Letter
Residents raised questions about the traffic situation, complaining that while parking on Shore Road makes driving through the area difficult, parking and driving on side streets, such as long and winding Hammond Road, makes conditions dangerous, albeit impossible, for fire engines and other emergency vehicles to pass. Another complaint was that a patron actually asked a resident to park on the driveway, so there would be an additional spot on the street for the customers of Steamboat Landing. Outside the cars, the patrons are equally difficult, according to residents. Complaints of public urination (often on residents' lawns), broken bottles and loud and rowdy behavior outside the restaurant were repeated again and again.

Land Development Agreement for Glen Cove Waterfront Signed
Glen Cove Mayor Mary Ann Holzkamp announced Wednesday that the Glen Cove Industrial Development Agency (IDA) and the Community Development Agency (CDA) have completed negotiations and executed a land development agreement (LDA) with Glen Isle Development Company, LLC. The LDA is for the redevelopment of a 46-acre parcel owned by the two agencies on Glen Cove's waterfront.
