Mary Motyka (nee Czapilicki), of Glen Cove, died on July 9, 2002. Wife of the late Peter. Sister of Sr. Mary Michael, OCD, Henry Czaplicki, Florence Bunce and the late Sophie Lambertson, Phil, Violet Hendrickson, Helen Siarkowski, Stanley, Ann Shedorick and Al. Sunny (Selma) Szymanski, of Glen Head, died on July 29, 2002. Wife of (The Music of My Soul) Michael. Mother of Robin (Schick), Barbara (Markowitz), Tania (Rossi), Michael Flam and stepson Michael Plock. Sister of L. George Scheer and Abbey Lane. Grandmother of nine. Great-grandmother of one. Sister-in-law of Carolyn (Auerhan). Also survived by nieces, Jennifer and Katie and friends including Edward Bradley. She was an entertainer extraordinaire (Sunny Lane) and a vigilant child abuse activist.... and co-founder of The Children's Rescue Foundation. The world will miss her.
