Isabel Parker Rice, loving mother of Virginia McDonough Emerich; her son-in-law Scott Emerich; and son Peter Rice. Beloved grandmother of Michele, Mickey Chris and Shawn. Great-grandmother of Jack. She was a devoted volunteer at the hospital at Glen Cove for over 50 years and cherished "Aunt Issy" to the many children who attended her nursery group that she led for 38 years. All who loved her were inspired by the good things she personified, her enormous capacity for life, the love, friendship and compassion she gave to all who knew her. Jack Kortvelesy, of Greenvale, died suddenly on May 18, 2002. He served in the Navy during WWII and the Korean War. He worked for IBM for 35 years. He was predeceased by his first wife Jeanne. He is survived by his wife Mary; brother and sister-in-law Robert and Brook Kortvelesy of Newark, DE; his children, Scott of Honolulu, HI, Nancy Hall of Commack, Jill Mennicken of Garden City, Peggy Kortvelesy of Huntington, Joanne Kortvelesy of Deer Park, Jeanne Regina of Leesburg, VA and Debra Ciccone of Huntington. Patrick F. Bogdanovich, of Lattingtown, formerly of Bayville, died on May 19, 2002. Mr. Bogdanovich was a manager of Verizon Communications for 30 years A member of Delta Mu Delta, Patrick earned his bachelor of science in business administration at Adelphi University, his MBA at LIU and a masters in computer science from Polytechnic University. Patrick was a veteran in the US Navy. He served two nine month tours on the USS Kitty Hawk during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the American Legion, Robert H. Spittle Post #1285. Husband of Georgette. Father of Marie, Kristen and Allison. Son of Ethel and the late Patrick F. Sr. Brother of Renee Minsk, Lynn Postal, Donna Pusterla and Juliann Russell.
