On Tuesday, Jan. 15, the Big Red Winter Track and Field Team ran at Farmindale University in the Fraley Meet. In the 55m dash was Rich Tarver (7.0), Travis Watson (6.9), Ricky Ferao (7.4), Jason Lindenbaum (7.6),Bobby Ying (8.6), Hung-I Liao (7.6), and Jake Rubin (8.6). For the girls team Amanda Moretto (8.0) led the way followed by Stephanie Graziosi (8.2), Giovanna Condello (8.2), Lahaina Laroche (8.2), Liz Lottes (9.5), Eunice Jin (8.2), Adriana Amendolara (9.8), Emily Keogler (9.5), Mircha Colin (11.0), and Gabbi Anastasio (9.2). In the 55m High Hurdles Tin Chin ran 9.3, Allen Shin ran 11.2 and Lucia Son ran 10.8. In the 300m run Jason Lindenbaum ran 44.0, Ben Lowell ran 44.5, Tin Chin (45.2), Will Ng (45.6), Luis Bautista (48.1), Casey Paganetti (51.5), Joe Mazza (49.1) Allen Shin (45.6), Dan DeLaCruz (49.3), Tony Condello (46.5),and Bobby Ying (49.1). For the girls team Amanda Moretto ran 51.2, Giovanna Condello (52.9), Adriana Amendolara (1:02.1), Becky Kelly (55.0) and Eunice Jin (54.7). In the 1000m Mike Biscardi ran 3:14.8 while Italo Naves ran 3:26.8. Andres DeLaCruz (38' 10") and John Mahoney threw the shot put. Jasmine Thompson (13'), Lahaina Laroche (11' 7"), Gabbi Anastasio, Travis Watson (16' 11") and Will Ng competed in the long jump. Italo Naves also ran a 1600m run in 5:41.9

On Sunday, Jan. 20, the Winter Track and Field Team ran at Farmingdale University in the Ernie Clarke Meet. In the girls 55m dash was Amanda Moretto and Eunice Jin. Amanda ran a 8.1 while Eunice Jin ran a 8.2 and both made the finals. In the finals Amanda ran 8.0 for 4th place while Eunice ran 8.2 for 6th place. In the 55m high hurdles Lucia Son ran 11.0 while Allen Shin ran 11.0. In the 300m run Miguel Quinones ran 44.5 while in the 800m run Mike Biscardi ran 2:31.9 while Allen Shin ran 2:29.3. In the triple jump Jasmine Thompson continued her march towards the County Championships with a jump of 29' 4" which gave her 3rd in the meet. Amanda Moretto competed in her first triple jump of her life and leaped 27' 2.75" which gave her 5th at the meet. Lucia Son also continued her improvement with a leap of 24'. The next meets are for the Conference Championships (Jan. 26 and 28) and the County Championships (Feb. 4 and 9).
