The City of Glen Cove Dept. of Parks and Recreation and newly renovated Cove Lanes are once again teaming up to sponsor the Glen Cove Junior Bowling League. Play will be on Saturday mornings beginning Jan. 12, 2002.

The program is open to boys and girls ages 6 through 12 and will run for nine consecutive Saturdays ending on March 9. Bowling starts at 9:30 a.m. with each child bowling three games. Play ends at 11:30 a.m. Children will be on teams grouped by age. Requests for friends and/or siblings to bowl together will be considered.

Registration fee is $65 per child which includes three games of bowling per week, shoe rental, a pizza party and participation trophy at the last session. There will be no make-up sessions for missed bowling. Call the Department of Parks and Recreation now, 676-3766, to make arrangements for registration.
