All golfers in The Nine Holers by Glen Cove Golf Course had a most enjoyable past season. They celebrated with a delicious luncheon at the Page One Restaurant.

The following awards were graciously presented by Club President Joan Sniffen. The club champion in flight I - Rosemary Thomson, runner-up Leslie Coronia; in flight II - Irene Poulis, runner-up Daisy Strigaro. The Field Day competition brought out many winners: Flight I - Low Gross - Dolly Dahringer; Low Net - Geri Tice. Flight II - Low Gross - Daisy Strigaro; Low Net - Vi Upright. Closest to the line in Flight I - Dolly Dahringer; Flight II - Kay Feminella. The longest drive in Flight I - Liz Miller; in Flight II - Lori Strand. Closest to pin in Flight I - Geri Tice, Flight II - Virginia Buckhout. Most Improved Golfer of the Year, Rosemary Thomson. Ringers Champion - Dolly Dahringer. Kathy Fuller was cheered and congratulated for her "Hole in One."
