The City of Glen Cove Department of Parks and Recreation along with the Glen Cove Harbor Patrol will be removing the docks from the Garvies Point Boat Ramp during the week of Nov. 12, tide and weather permitting. Speed buoys and markers will also be removed at that time.

In past years, many boaters who moor in Hempstead Harbor have been caught in a difficult situation by not having their boats dry docked prior to the dock removal at the city's boat ramp. Please mark your calendars and plan ahead. Any questions or concerns, call 676-3766.
