In recent debates between Nassau County Executive Democratic candidates Mayor Suozzi and Assemblyman DiNapoli, Mr. DiNapoli belittled Glen Cove's fantastic progress under the leadership of Mayor Suozzi.

Who took a city with junk bond status to one of the highest bond rating since the '70s? Suozzi did it. Who brought almost $400,000 to 26,000 residents to improve the waterfront in the City of Glen Cove? Suozzi did it. Who revitalized a dying downtown into a healthy, thriving business district? Suozzi did it. Who brought balanced budgeting and no tax increases in six years to Glen Cove? Suozzi did it.

DiNapoli says Glen Cove is only a microcosm of success and cannot be related to the whole county. The residents of Glen Cove and Mayor Suozzi did it and did an unbelievable job in bringing Glen Cove into its now healthy status. This is a complete success story. How dare Mr. DiNapoli put it down.

Give Mayor Thomas Suozzi the opportunity to turn around Nassau County and he will do it. He is the only candidate who can truly say, "I can do it because I have done it." Mr. DiNapoli has publicly belittled what has been accomplished in Glen Cove.

Vote in the Democratic Primary Sept. 11 for Thomas Suozzi. He respects people and accomplishments. He has proven he can work wonders. This is too important a Primary not to get out and vote. It will determine the future of Nassau County for your children's children.
