Members of the Glen Cove High School Girls Varsity Lacrosse team were honored at the Nassau County Girls Lacrosse Coaches Association annual awards dinner last month. To the delight of the entire team, their coach, Jacquie Gow, was awarded "Coach of the Year" for the third consecutive year. Congrats to Coach Gow on a job well done. Members of the team honored during the course of the evening were graduated seniors Jaime Basile, All County; Erica Schor, All County, Scholar Athlete; Victoria Dilgard, Unsung Hero; Kristie Anzalone, All Conference; Nicole Trotta, All Conference.

It was a great season for Big Red's Cinderella team that ended in spectacular fashion when the ladies captured the County Conference II championship.
