On Monday night, six girls were honored at the 18th Annual Nassau County Softball All-Star Banquet. Michelle DeJesus and Joanna Moccia were given the All-County award, Stephanie Graziosi and Joan Starkman were given the All-Conference award, Meghan DeAngelis was given the All-Division award, and Maureen DeAngelis was given the senior scholar athlete award. "These young ladies have contributed all year; they deserve the recognition," said Coach Johanson.

The season ended in the quarter final round of the playoffs losing to Island Trees, who by the way won the county championship this year. The team has worked hard to be competitive and with 12 girls returning from this year's team, next year looks good for the Big Red.
