Ellen M. Kelly, of Locust Valley, died on June 26, 2001. Wife of the late James. Mother of James A. Grandmother of Elizabeth and James. Great-grandmother of five. Arrangements were made by the McLaughlin Kramer Megiel Funeral Home, Glen Cove. Funeral Mass at St. Patrick's Church. Interment St. Raymond's Cemetery, Bronx.

Frances R. Minicozzi (nee Medugno), of Glen Cove, died on June 27, 2001. She was a member of the St. Rocco Rosary Society. Wife of Joseph. Mother of Maryann Wills, Phylisann Rusnack, John, Michael, Joseph, Francis and Robert Minicozzi. Also survived by 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Arrangements were made by the Marcus L. Bianconi Funeral Home, Glen Cove. Mass of Christian Burial at the Church of St. Rocco. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Heart Association.

Nadezhda (Dickeskul) Savelyev, 84, of Georgetown, MA, formerly of Glen Cove, died June 27, 2001, at the Country Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Newburyport, MA. Mrs. Savelyev was born in Russia and after immigrating to the US became a proof reader for the UN in NY for 20 years. While living in Georgetown she was a resident of the Carlton Home. She was the wife of the late Konstantin Paul Savelyev and is survived by her son Michael K (Mary) Savelyev of Groveland and formerly of Georgetown; and grandchildren, Kara and Leah of Roanoke, VA, and Michael, Andrew, Simon, Nancy and James, all of Groveland. She was predeceased by a son, the late Peter K. Savelyev. Arrangements were made by the Merton E. Roberts Jr. and Conte Funeral Home, Georgetown. Funeral service at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Jordanville, NY.

Anna R. Dougherty, 96, of Glen Cove, died on June 28, 2001. She was a former 40-year employee of Doubleday Publishing Co. Anna was active in many church societies. Daughter of the late Annie and Edward. Sister of five brothers and two sisters, all deceased. Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Arrangements were made by the McLaughlin Kramer Megiel Funeral Home, Glen Cove. Funeral Mass celebrated at St. Patrick's RC Church. Interment Brookville Cemetery.

Lawrence D. Jeacoma, of Glen Cove, died on June 28, 2001. Husband of Belle. Brother of Lois, Marlene, Kathleen, Andrew, Raymond, Ronald and Frank. Also survived by his nieces and nephews. Arrangements were made by the McLaughlin Kramer Megiel Funeral Home, Glen Cove. Interment Calverton National Cemetery.

Rosalie Jay, of Glen Cove, died on June 29, 2001. Wife of the late Edgar. Mother of Ellen Salvo (Lenny) and Robert Jay (Judy). Sister of Pat Minuchin (Salvatore). Grandmother of Jill (John), Adam, Jennifer and Matthew. Great-grandmother of Jack and Randy. Arrangements were made by the Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home, Glen Cove. Service with Rabbi Janet Liss of North Country Reform Temple officiating. Interment Beth Moses Cemetery.

Billy Zember, 62, of Hicksville, formerly of Glen Cove, died on July 1, 2001. Husband of Patricia. Father of Doreen Ward (Edward), Leighann Rossillo (Frank), Christine Di Benedetto (John) and Karl Francis. Brother of Bobby and Barbara. Grandfather of Keith, Kristin, Justin and Derek. Good pal of Zeus. Arrangements were made by the Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home, Glen Cove. Interment service at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
