The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC), in cooperation with the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) would like to inform the community about the environmental site investigation which will begin at the former Glenwood Landing Gas Plant facility. The approximately 20-acre site is a former modern liquid propane gas cracking plant and propane storage tank farm. The gas facilities have been decommissioned and demolished, and the propane storage tanks have been removed. A laboratory services operation remains active at the site. FULL STORY
