Joe Termini, formerly of Glen Cove, died on Dec. 19, 2000 in Richmond, VA. Joe was co-owner of the world famous 5-Spot Café in NYC along with his brother Iggy. Upon its closing, Joe worked at the Sans Souci Restaurant in Sea Cliff. He leaves his wife Poo; daughters, Toni and Joanne; and four grandchildren. Plans are for a memorial service after the New Year.

Peter J. Bonavito, 88, of Bayville, died on Dec. 26, 2000. He was a graduate of St. John's School of Pharmacy, 1935, and former proprietor of Peter's Pharmacy of Astoria for over 40 years. Dennis James Sullivan, of Glen Cove, died on Dec. 26, 2000. Husband of Millie. Father of Robert and Lisa Sullivan and Denise and Joe Hearon. Son of Joseph and the late Mary. Elizabeth Yannotti, 77, wife of Louis Yannotti Jr., a resident of Harwood Hill, Bennington, VT, died Dec. 26, 2000 at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center following a long illness. Born in Glen Cove on April 20, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Michael Angelo and Rose (Congero) Ceriello. She received her education in Glen Cove. Mr. and Mrs. Yannotti were married in Glen Cove on May 18, 1941. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in North Bennington. Mrs. Yannotti's home and family were her main interests. Survivors include her husband, Louis Jr. of Bennington; a son, Louis Yannotti III of Bennington; two daughters, Patricia Ann Rossetti of Locust Valley, and Carol Ann Williams of Bayville; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Evelyn Stanfield and Genevieve Solomito, both of Glen Cove; a brother William Solomito of California. Mrs. Yannotti was predeceased by a granddaughter, Joan Marie Zibkowski. The funeral was held from the Mahar & Son Funeral Home on Dec. 29 with a prayer service at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church where the Liturgy of Christian Death and Burial was offered. Burial took place in the family plot in St. John's Cemetery, N. Bennnington.
