Now that the first annual Michael DiCarlo Men's Softball Tournament has come to a close, there are thanks that need to be given.

To Kevin Monahan, who spent countless hours organizing this wonderful tournament in Mike's memory, thank you for being such a good friend. Your dedication and enthusiasm made this event a reality. To Bruce Testa for your time and beautiful testimony to Mike. To Lou Larice and Glen Cove Junior League Baseball for your recognition of Mike's dedication to the youth of this community. To the City of Glen Cove for the use of City Stadium. To Karen Wansor and Darcy Belyea for their tireless efforts to assist in any way they could. To Jim and Sue Catanzano, Kerry and Beth Catanzano and Anthony and Ronnie Corbo for their contribution of raffle prizes. To Glen Rizzo for his valiant efforts at keeping the fields dry. To our family and friends who gave their love, support and generosity and to all of the teams who participated, words alone cannot express our appreciation for honoring Mike in a way that would have meant so very much to him.
