The Division winners completed a double header sweep on Saturday. 5-4 and 9-0 with the emergence of Lisa Kasyjanski taking her first win and Tanyia DeJesus backing her up in the second game with a no-hitter. Tanyia led the team with three hits, one close to an automatic line-drive home run off the centerfield wall.
Meaghan led the team in hitting in the second game with a hard-hit triple driving in three runs to close out the game. She also had three stolen bases, including a daring steal of home plate in the first inning leading a four-run drive.
Stephanie Dambrosio led the defensive effort at catcher with a pick-off play while throwing out two base runners. In addition to the no-hitter, Tanyia struck out 10 against Newfield. Lindsay Testa, Nadira Montaluo and Stephanie also collected three hits apiece in the two games.
