Ferry Opponents Lose First Round
In State Supreme Court in Mineola on March 7, Justice Robert Roberto denied the request made by the North Shore Environmental Alliance, (NSEA), and the Village of Sea Cliff to stop passenger ferry service operating between Glen Cove and New London, Connecticut. Justice Roberto ruled that the ferry service and construction of additional facilities should not be expanded until the volumes of papers presented by both sides have been reviewed by the judge to whom the case will be assigned.
