Julius Vnook, born in Oyster Bay and a 22-year resident of Locust Valley, died on Jan. 20, 2000. He retired to Florida in 1976. Husband of Helen. Father of Julius Jr., Kenneth, Mary Restivo and Janet Zilles. Grandfather of Alissa and Augie Restivo. Nora Lund, 94, of Roseville, MN, formerly of Old Brookville, died on Jan. 21, 2000. Born in Oslo, Norway to parents Olga and Frederik Carlex. She was preceded in death by her husband Gunnar; son Norman and sister Borghild. Survived by her son, Erik and his wife Arline of New Brighton, MN; grandchildren Norman of Arden Hills, MN and Jamie of Vancouver, WA. Also survived by other relatives in Norway.
