Peter Warren Swanson, of Sea Cliff, died on Dec. 28, 1999. Beloved son of John H. and Renee Serries Swanson. Loving brother of Monica and Katie. James Gregory Doyle, 79, of Ruidoso NM, died Dec. 4, 1999. He was a decorated and wounded Iwo Jima marine. He continued his service to America working for the Dept. of Defense at Kirtland Airforce Base in Albuquerque. Formerly of Glen Cove, he moved to Ruidoso with his companion Carol Baldwin. He is survived by Carol; his children, Gregory, Phillip and Tricia (David); his grandchildren, Erin and Kristy; daughter-in-law, Wendy; sister Nancy; and sister-in-law, Jean. At his request, no services were held. His ashes will join his wife Jane's in the Watermelon Mountains. Let us all grieve for him in our own way. Semper Fi, Jim. Alex J. Ptarcinski, of Sea Cliff, died on Dec. 24, 1999. He worked for Marton Roofing for many years and was a veteran of WWII. He resided in the Sea Cliff and Glen Cove area all his life. William H. Lawrence, of Glen Head, died on Dec. 28,1999. Born in Eaton, CO, he was a Navy veteran of WWII and a member of American Legion Post #336.
