At the annual dinner dance on Nov. 16, which took place at Fox Hollow in Woodbury, achievement awards were presented to three of the Glen Cove Vikings who completed five years of productive performances for the organization.

Jerry Loeber, field manager, presented plaques to each player while Elliott Sylvan, general manager of the G.C.S.S.A. looked on.

Gold Medal Winners

The Long Island Tigers 70-year-old softball team won the Gold Medal at the Senior Olympics in Orlando, FL on Oct. 26. Six Glen Cove players performed on this team which won six straight games in two days to capture the title.
