Margery A. Bartlett, of Upper Brookville, died on Sept. 3, 1999. A lifelong resident of LI, she was an active community volunteer as head of LI Nursing School at Community Hospital as well as a longtime member of the Women's Auxiliary. She was also a member of the Altar Guild of St. John's of Lattingtown, the American Red Cross and the North Country Community Association. Wife of Edmund. Mother of John D. Fairchild, Peter L. Fairchild and the late Thomas A. Fairchild. Sister of the late Harriet Keator. Grandmother of 18. Great-grandmother of three. Arrangements were made by the Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home, Glen Cove. Memorial service at St. John's of Lattingtown. Interment Locust Valley Cemetery. Donations can be made to Hospice Care Network.

Josephine Telese (nee Congero), of Glen Cove, died on Sept. 3, 1999. Wife of the late Carmine. Mother of Nora Haagerson (Bill) and Charles Telese (Irene). Sister of Mary Ruffin, Rose DiLeo, Helen Brino, Antoinette Telese, Phil Congero and the late Fanny Gatti. Grandmother of five. Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Arrangements were made by the Marcus L. John Sobieski, 73, of Glen Cove formerly of Locust Valley, died on Sept. 4, 1999. Employee of LILCO for 40 years. Husband of Anne (nee Kopczynski). Father of Linda Pascale (Peter), John Jr. and Cynthia. Brother of Frank, Marian (Mae) Chrzanowski, the late Stanley, Chester and Edward. Special grandfather of Nicholas. Arrangements were made by the Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home, Glen Cove. Mass celebrated at St. Hyacinth's Church. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery.

Dr. Edgardo Barqueros Rasaca, 63, died on Sept. 4, 1999. Husband of Erlinda (nee Celis). Father of Belinda, Melinda and Edgardo Jr. Son-in-law of Ben. Brother of Aurora, Felipe and Emmanuel. Adored by countless international family and friends. Arrangements were made by the McLaughlin Kramer Megiel Funeral Home, Glen Cove. Funeral Mass celebrated at St. Patrick's Church. Interment Locust Valley Cemetery.

Charles Cressi, of Syosset formerly of Glen Cove, died on Sept. 4, 1999, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Queens, he was an eletrician and a 20-year member of Local #3 IBEW and its catholic council. He was a member of the Mid Island Surf Casters. Husband of Bonnie (nee Congero). Father of Charles, Daniel and Randy. Son of Charles and Joan. Brother of Douglas. Arrangements were made by the Whitting Funeral Home, Glen Head. Funeral Mass at St. Boniface Martyr Church. Interment Locust Valley Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice Care Network.

Vincent A. Viscusi, of Glen Cove, died on Sept. 4, 1999. Born in NYC, he was employed by Subaru North Coast Auto Corp. in Glen Cove. Brother of Joan Lampasone, Richard Viscusi and Thomas Viscusi. Arrangements were made by the Whitting Funeral Home, Glen Head. Funeral service. Interment Pinelawn Memorial Park.
