Mary Walczak Myles was born on Aug. 6, 1913. She died on Aug. 12, 1999 in Nehalem, OR at the age of 86. Mary grew up in Locust Valley and Glen Cove, the oldest daughter of 10 children. Upon her marriage to Benjamin Walczak, she moved to Sea Cliff. She was widowed in 1951 and after married Albert Myles. Upon his death in 1991, she moved to Manzanita, OR to be close to her son Peter and family. She loved her family, enjoyed laughter, games and keeping up with the news. Mrs. Myles is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Peter and Karin Walczak of Nehalem, Kevin and Pamela Myles of Camas, WA and Edward and Joan Myles of Bellerose Manor; three surviving sisters Celie Groblewski, Annie Pietrucki and Stella Czarniecki; and grandchildren, Benjamin and Paul Walczak, Edward, David, Joseph, Robert, Dorothy and Michael Myles. Arrangements were made by the Whitting Funeral Home, Glen Head. Funeral services at St. Boniface Church. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery.

Robert Kinnear, 71, of Glen Cove and Locust Valley, died on Aug. 7, 1999. Retired US Air Force Staff Sergeant. Father of Glenn, Gene and Deborah. Grandfather of five. Brother of William and Carol Schulz. Arrangements were made by the Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home, Glen Cove.
