    The Glen Cove Board of Education convened their regular meeting on Feb. 22 in the Finley Middle School. Glen Cove residents, members of the district's central administration and the seven members of the school board on their way to the meeting were greeted by a large turnout of teachers lined up on both sides of the second floor hallway.     On Feb. 23, Glen Cove High School's Big Red boys varsity basketball squad topped off the quarter finals of the Nassau County Class B Championships with a rousing 93-82 victory over top-seeded Malverne.     The North Shore Vikings' ice hockey team gained a dramatic come-from-behind victory against Baldwin on Feb. 9, scoring the tying and winning goal in the final two minutes of the game.
