Glen Head/Glenwood Business Association Meeting on Ferry
The Glen Head/Glenwood Business Association will be holding an open meeting on Jan. 13, 6:30 p.m. at Papagallo's Restaurant in Glen Head. Frank Barker and Cliff Rudolph, property owners, will be presenting their plans to develop their vacant site next to the Mobil Oil Plant on Shore Road in Glenwood Landing.

Triangle Deal Squared Off
On Jan. 6, Mayor Thomas Suozzi announced the final sale and closing on the Triangle property occurred last Wednesday. "After 25 years, no less than a half dozen proposals, and years of political posturing and handwringing, the Triangle has been sold and there is $2 million in the bank." The developers, North Shore Triangle Associates, expect to begin construction by this spring with a completion date scheduled for this fall.

Glen Cove High School Sports
The Glen Cove High School wrestling team, in conjunction with the Booster Club, sponsored Glen Cove's first ever Holiday Wrestling Tournament. Big Red alumni Steve Kasyjanski and Savvy Gallo manned the head table, running a smooth and efficient tournament. Most wrestling tournaments run from 7:30 a.m. until 10 p.m. Our tournament began at 9 a.m. and finished at 6:45 p.m.
