  • NEWS: No Supermajority, No Glengariff

    On Tuesday, Dec. 1, the Glen Cove Planning Board met to consider two agenda items. One of the issues before the board was a final determination on the proposed Glengariff Senior Manor nursing home off Dosoris Lane, an application filed by the Glengariff Corporation and its CEO, Michael Miness. On Aug. 4, the board had given preliminary approval of the facility with four members voting in favor, two against, and one not voting because he was appointed to the board late in this process.
